I agreed to participate in the company's try-before-you-buy free trial for just $14.00, plus an agreement to purchase foundation makeup at subscription prices and enrollment. Two out of twelve times, accessing my account was unauthorized.
The last four accesses to my bank account, occurring monthly over four months, were also unauthorized. Representatives from the company confirmed during three different calls that my first shipment and billing date after the trial period was not March 18, 2024, but instead April 6, 2024, due to the need to ship a color corrector for the trial shipment. I was told I could change this first shipment date of April 6, 2024 at any time prior to shipping, to a date when I would again need more foundation. I was angry that they had lied to me yet again and accessed my account without my consent.
I told them I should cancel the membership, as they continued to abuse the privilege of accessing my account without authorization and acted at will. I decided I wouldn't cancel it for now, but I did request a refund for the unauthorized charge and shipment. They provided a written promise of a refund once the shipment was returned. Since then, however, they have failed to acknowledge the receipt of the tracking number, the shipment, or any processing of the refund.
Furthermore, they have not acknowledged any refund received. In addition, even though I had received bills for the free trial equipment, I have contacted the company at least nine times notifying them that my membership is active and have asked them to stop sending me bills and randomly charging my account in three monthly installments for the equipment. These last three unauthorized charges, reported to my FP Mastercard's dispute department, have added yet another dispute and an unauthorized charge of $53.20 posted on July 8, 2024. The total of the last four unauthorized charges, still under investigation by FP Mastercard, is $201.10 to date.
The lack of response from the company is unacceptable. It's evident that this organization is not legitimate.
Their game is to gain access to your bank account at any time, provide no means of contact, and fail to attempt to resolve issues raised. The company just keeps billing the customer monthly without authorization.

I'm pissed off because they lied to me. They lied to me and they weren't supposed to take out any money out of my account.
I told them I wanted to send some stuff back and they told me to keep it, and they still took money out. Never would I recommend them.
Don't go through Luminous. Don't give them your bank information; they're thieves and the makeup is not great, and my machines have broken down several times and they don't fix them.
No communication with the customer service
On the 26th of April I placed a order #1619**** but three more were placed by mistake and I want to have them removed

I am continuously being charged for this product on my Visa. I only wanted to try it once and have been charged 3 times.
I have received it twice and charged 3 times.
Please do not continue to send this to me and credit my account in the amount of $112.89. I didn't order these products and do not want them.

DID NOT RECEIVE WHAT I ORDERED. VERY HARD TO GET A REPLY
STOP PHONY ADVERTIZING OF PRODUCTS YOU DON'T INTEND TO SEND. STOP WITH THE RUN AROUND.
I ORDERED THE COMPLETE KIT AND ONLY RECEIVED 2 BOTTLES OF THE WRONG FOUNDATION COLOR.
2 BOTTLES OF EXTRA DARK ONLY. THAT IS NOT ME.

It's a complete scam
Don't fall for it there is no free trial. They get your bank account information and take charges out they don't return.
They put holes on your account to take more out.
I never received any product because I canceled it as soon as I saw they put holds on my account remove money that they shouldn't have. It's a total scam.

I ordered makeup one time and they started charging me $84 every month for nothing. Calling the bank to have it stopped. What a rip off.

I placed an order with Luminess on February 13, 2025, and as of today's date I have not received my order. They keep changing the date of delivery, first it was on the 19th, then the 22nd and last February 24, which is today. Can you tell me where my order was shipped to and when it will be delivered.

My card was charged for more than the price they say they was going to charge me which may cause my account to go in over draft and I am going to occur fees which is putting me in a financial situation I was suppose to be charged right at $6 dollars I got charged that plus $53 dollars

Customer Service through phone call was great. The gentleman listened my saga and I was very satisfied with complete outcome
The error was mine I realized I ordered from two different Luminess icons. Underwent chemo treatments not thinking well when I was on the site.
My customer Service gentleman was most helpful. Situation was handled to my satisfaction. He handled the problem immediately. I found it very difficult to talk with a person when you want to ask questions before placing an order.
I hope I LOVE Luminess...it looks great. Respectfully LB
Want my refund
I do not want this product. Someone was on my phone and clicked it.
So please refund me because I never did except it when it was delivered. Sent it straight back to the company.
So please credit my account the $146 and take me off your list. There is nothing I need in the future from your company.

My card was declined and I need to pay my invoice with another card. They keep sending me ominous text messages but I cant get them on the phone. Ridiculous
